Yavapai Health Department is also known as Yavapai County Community Health Services. Two programs are offered to the community of Yavapai County through the Community Health Center of West Yavapai a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center and the Verde Valley Wellness Clinic. Some of the services that are provided are Medical care of acute and chronic diseases, preventative and restorative dental and mental health care. Mental care includes depression, anxiety and chemical dependency. Since payments are based on a patients income level the Yavapai Health Department manages Administrative Services which include services such as, accounts/contracts, patient billing, vital records, compliance oversight, personnel/payroll and YCCHS management information systems.

The Mental Health program provides services such as mental health screening, evaluation, psychiatric consultation, counseling, case management, and pharmaceutical assistance. Mental Health Services are provided at the Prescott Valley office or the VVWC Cottonwood office. The Prescott Valley office offers Dental Health Services. Dental Health Services include extensive restorative work such as root canals and crowns.
